This College & Career Advantage and U.C. 'a-g'-approved course introduces you to 2D and 3D animation, character design, and modeling, and visual storytelling. Beginning and advanced sections are available.

Upload projects to the ACME Animation website and interact with other high school peers, college animation students and professors, and even industry pros from Animation Mentor and studios such as Pixar, Disney, Warner Bros, Sony ImageWorks, and DreamWorks.

Every other week, get one-on-one feedback about your work during live video conferences with pros from various sites around Southern California.

A unique benefit of this course is that it allows you to get personalized mentoring on how to enter top college programs and animation-related careers. This comes directly from college students in those programs and people in the industry. No more guessing about portfolios or demo reels!

Our students have been accepted into art/animation programs at the following schools and colleges: CalArts, Art Center, Ringling College of Art & Design, Savannah College of Art & Design, Chapman University, Academy of Art University, Cal States San Jose, Long Beach, and Fullerton, California College of the Arts, Laguna College of Art and Design, and Brigham Young University.

Former students of this course have gone on to intern at Blue Sky Studios and work for Nickelodeon and Disney Feature Animation along with a number of video game companies.

This CTE course has an articulation agreement with Saddleback College and is awarded an honors extra half grade point. Cha-ching!
