GOLD Time - Student Overview
GOLD Time is intended to allow students to select which class tutorial sessions they would like to attend. Before students can schedule themselves one or more of their teachers may schedule a session for them if they need additional help. Students need to schedule a session for each day Tuesday through Friday.
GOLD Time sessions are scheduled using a software called "5-Star Students." While sessions can be scheduled via web browser we strongly encourage students to download the app as it is very easy to use, sends notifications of changes, and provides students a digital school ID. GOLD Time Overview:
- There are a set number of seats available in sessions, so once a GOLD TIME session is full it's full.
- There are no "drop-ins" If you are not signed up to be in a GOLD TIME session you may not attend.
- Attendance is taken during GOLD Time. It is reflected in the AERIES Portal as "period 9."
Accessing 5 Star Students
Students can schedule anytime the window is open beginning on Thursday for the following week.
