Schedule Changes for Fall 2025

As we begin the new school year, please understand that requests for allowable schedule changes cannot be honored via email or phone. Allowable schedule changes are limited to leveling down and/or dropping an extra class. We are unable to honor requests for elective changes, teachers, class periods, or free periods.

Requests for DROPS ONLY as specified above, can be made beginning the first day of school via the online Guidance Portal.

Requests for LEVELING DOWN as specified above, can be made beginning SEPTEMBER 5, via the online Guidance Portal. NO leveling requests will be accepted UNTIL 9/5/25.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as the Guidance staff works to balance class sizes to ensure productive learning environments for all students.

Below is the link to the Guidance portal; we will accept DROP requests ONLY beginning August 19 and LEVELING DOWN requests beginning September 5.

We will accept requests thru midnight on October 3.

Fall 2025 Drivers Education Registration

No registrations accepted after September 26 2025

Course term: October 1, 2025 – December 11, 2025

This online Drivers Education course is equivalent to a regular 30-hour classroom course and has been examined and authorized by the Licensing Operations Division of the DMV. Please note that this is the classroom section, not the behind-the-wheel course. Students who successfully complete this course, which includes an online exam, will receive an official DMV Certificate of Completion. This is required to obtain a learner's permit for all drivers between the ages of 15 ½ and 18 years old.

Open to all CUSD students who are at least 15 years old by December 11, 2025

o Students cannot complete course prior to turning 15.

There is no charge for CUSD students to take this course.
No transcript units will be granted for this course.
Students must complete the online curriculum by December 11, 2025
Students may take this course only once in Fall, Spring, or Summer.
